Copyright Policy
Oncor.io operates a notice-and-takedown process for copyright complaints and a counter-notice process where appropriate.
Last updated: February 13, 2026
1. How to submit a copyright notice
Send infringement notices to copyright@oncor.io.
Please include all of the following:
- Your full name, contact email, and relationship to the rights holder.
- Clear identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Direct URL(s) on Oncor.io for the allegedly infringing content.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized.
- A statement that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act.
- Your electronic signature (typed full legal name is acceptable).
2. Review and takedown process
- We review notices and may request additional evidence before acting.
- If a notice appears valid, we may remove or disable access to the reported content.
- We generally notify the uploader/artist after action, unless legal or safety reasons prevent notice.
- We may preserve evidence and account history for compliance, dispute handling, and fraud prevention.
3. Counter-notice process
If your content is removed and you believe the claim was wrong (for example, misidentification or you have valid rights), you can send a counter-notice to copyright@oncor.io.
Counter-notices should include:
- Your name, contact details, and identification of removed content.
- A clear explanation of why the takedown is incorrect.
- Supporting information showing rights ownership or authorization.
- A statement that the information is accurate.
- Your electronic signature.
We review counter-notices and may request more information. Restoration is decided case by case, considering rights evidence, risk, and applicable law.
4. Repeat infringement and account action
- Accounts with repeated or serious infringement reports may be suspended or terminated.
- We evaluate repeat infringement using complaint quality, response quality, and prior enforcement history.
- Attempts to evade enforcement (for example by creating replacement accounts) may result in wider restrictions.
5. False or abusive notices
Knowingly false, misleading, or abusive copyright complaints may lead to account action and potential legal consequences. We may reject notices that are incomplete, unclear, or unsupported.
6. Other rights and reporting routes
This policy addresses copyright claims. Trademark, privacy, impersonation, and other content concerns should be reported via support or legal channels listed in the legal center.
