How enforcement works on Oncor
Artists and fans should know what happens after a report is submitted. This page explains review priorities, typical outcomes, and appeal routes.
Review priorities
- Safety risk and hateful abuse are prioritized first.
- Copyright and impersonation reports are triaged quickly.
- Automated upload flags are queued for admin review.
- Repeat policy violations escalate enforcement severity.
Appeals and reversals
If a creator believes an action was incorrect, they can reply with evidence through support. We review appeals with fresh context and can reverse decisions if the report outcome was wrong.
Enforcement examples
| Scenario | Typical response | Expected timing |
|---|---|---|
| Copyright complaint with clear ownership evidence | Temporary takedown while rights evidence is reviewed | Usually within 24 hours |
| Impersonation of an existing artist or label | Profile restriction, metadata correction request, and possible suspension | Same day for high-confidence cases |
| Bulk spam uploads from a new account | Upload throttling plus manual review in admin queue | Automatic throttle immediately, human review next business window |
| Abusive language in updates/comments | Content removal and account warning or suspension based on severity | As soon as reviewed |
